Among the forms of sin are neglected and underestimated by the Muslims is a sin kesyirikan. Therefore, on this occasion the author will explain a little about the dangers of shirk. Hopefully this discussion can change our views about the dangers kesyirikan far we have not necessarily know.

Shirk is the Islamic One Invalidate

Among the biggest cause cancellation of Islam a person is doing shirk in Allah Almighty. That is to worship other than Allah, the Exalted, as well as worship to God, like bernadzar to other than Allah, prostrating to other than Allah, or ask for help to other than God in things that no one could fulfill except Allaah alone . Allaah says which means, "Verily, those who ascribe (something to) Allah, then surely Allah has forbidden Paradise to him, and his place is hell. It is not there for those who do wrong it was a helper. "(Surat Al-Maidah [5]: 72)

Allaah says which means, "Verily Allah will not forgive the sin of shirk, and he forgives all the sins of the level below (shirk), for whom He wills. Any person who ascribe Allah, then indeed he has done great sin. "(Surah An-Nisa '[4]: 48)

Therefore, kesyirikan is the most dangerous sin, but mostly done by people who claim to be Muslims and say "La ilaha illallah". They did perform prayers and fasting. However, they mix their worship with shirk akbar, so they came out of Islam.

Shirk is the Primary Goal "wah" Satan

Tawhid is the nature that Allah Ta'ala created for humans. Every human being existing in this world born on disposition of monotheism, even though he was born to parents who are idolaters. Allaah says which means, "And (remember) when thy Lord issued a descendant of Adam's children of their backbone and God took testimony against their souls (and said), 'Am I not your Lord?' They replied, 'Yes (You are our Lord), we become witnesses.' "(Surat Al-A'raf [7]: 172)

Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Not a single child is born except born on nature. His parents who make it as Jews, Christians, or Zoroastrians. Like an animal that was born in a state of survivors (same as parent), whether you feel there is a defect to her? "(Narrated by Bukhari no. 1385 and Muslim no. 6926)

Because humans are born in the above disposition of monotheism, the devil will try to mobilize all its ability to mislead people so that they deviate from the monotheistic nature. Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Verily, my Lord commanded me to teach you what you do not know. Among the things taught to me today is, any property which I gave to my servant, then (a) lawful for him. Behold my servant, I created entirely in a state of hanif (become a Muslim, pen.). Then the devil came to Him that made them out of their religion. And forbid the things that I halalkan for them. And also ordered them to associate me with something I did not send down a description of it ... "(Narrated by Muslim, no. 7386)

Satan himself had promised before God Almighty that he would try to change the nature of Almighty God has created for mankind. Allaah says which means, "That cursed God and the devil was saying, 'I'm really going to take from you the servants who have been determined (for me). And I'm really going to mislead them, and will generate an empty delusion on them and told them (cut off the ears of cattle), then they really cut it. And I will order them (to change God's creation), then they really they change it '. Any person who makes the devil became patron instead of Allah, then surely he suffered a real loss. "(Surah An-Nisa '[4]: 118-119)

The scholars commentators disagree about the purpose of the verse, "And I will order them (to change God's creation)." The most correct opinion, as selected by Abu Ja'far Ath-Thabary rahimahullah is, "Changing the religion of God." (See Tafseer Ath-Thabary, 9 / 222)

Shaykh Muhammad Ash-Syinqithi rahimahullah explains, "Some scholars say that the meaning of this verse is the devil sent them to infidel and change the nature of the Islamic religion which Allaah has created for them. These words are explained and demonstrated by word of Allaah (which means), '(Keep on) nature of God who created man by nature is. No changes in the nature of God. (That's) the right religion "(Surah Ar-Rum [30]: 30). The point is, do not change the nature of which has been created for you to (do) infidelity ". (Tafseer Adhwa'ul Bayan, 1 / 341)

Sheikh Abdurrahman As-Sa'di rahimahullah said, "Surely every person born in the above disposition (that is, monotheism, spell bound.). But the man who makes his parents as Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians, or that semisalnya of nature that God has assigned to His servant. Mentauhidkan nature is God, love Him and know Him. Satan will hunt them in this matter as beasts who hunt goats to separate from the flock. " (Tafseer Taisir Karimir Rahman, hal.204)

From here it is clear that the main purpose of "preaching" the devil is the man plunges into kesyirikan. Because when people have fallen into it, it was canceled tauhidnya. And when tauhidnya become null and void, then no matter how many good deeds are done, everything will be futile. So the devil would not have the interest anymore to bother him.

Therefore, we sometimes see people who do shirk to worship at the graves of righteous people, they worship by performing the prayers, dhikr, or read the Qur'an with full kekhusyu'an. They might even worship at the grave side all night long without feeling tired and sleepy. Something that might be very difficult to do by people other than them. Thus, they were none other kekhusyu'an because it is evil no longer has an interest to interfere with such worship. Because the devil already knows, that no matter how many acts of worship that they did everything would be futile and will not be accepted by Allah Ta'ala.

Shirk is a sin which will not be forgiven If Not Want repent

Allah Ta'ala says, "Verily Allah will not forgive the sin of shirk, and He forgives all sins that a lower level than (shirk) that, for anyone He wills. Any person who ascribe Allah, then indeed he has done great sin. "(Surah An-Nisa '[4]: 48)

This verse shows how dangerous the sin of shirk because Allaah will not forgive him unless the perpetrators confess. In fact, forgiveness and mercy of Allah Ta'ala is very broad and encompasses all things. Allaah says which means, "Verily, Allah is Oft forgiving, Forgiving." (Surat Al-Hajj [22]: 60)

This is confirmed by the hadith the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam from Umar ibn Khaththab radi' anhu, that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam saw a woman was holding her child while feeding, then the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said to his companions, "according to you, whether this mother bear to throw his son into the flames? "The Companions replied," No, by God! He will not have the heart, as long as he is able to not throw their children. " So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Truly Allah loves His slaves than this mother's affection to her child." (Narrated by Bukhari no. 5999 and Muslim no. 7154)

Verse and the hadith above shows how much compassion and forgiveness of Allah Ta'ala to His servants, surpassing love of a mother to her child. However, the idolaters do not come covered in it. It shows so much crime and kedzaliman posed by kesyirikan.

So anyone who died on kesyirikan, then he will not be forgiven. So this shows how dangerous kesyirikan. We must avoid as far as possible. Every sin is still possible and there is still hope to be forgiven if the perpetrators do not repent, except the sin of shirk. While kesyirikan not possible to be avoided except by studying and knowing the dangers. (See I'anatul Mustafiid, 1 / 95)

If someone did shirk then repented and died on monotheism, then Allah Almighty will forgive his sins, including the sin of shirk. In this respect, Allah Almighty says which means, "Say, 'O My servants who malampaui limits on themselves, do not despair of the mercy of God. Truly Allah forgives all sins. Verily He is the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. "(Surah Az-Zumar [39]: 53)

This is a small part of the dangers kesyirikan. Therefore, it is proper if someone is afraid to fall into shirk. In this case, the Prophet Ibrahim 'alaihis salaam has set an example to us when he prayed to Allah, the Exalted, "And (remember) when Abraham said,' O my Lord, make this country (Mecca), the country safe. And I put away my grandson and their children from worshiping idols. O my Rabb, indeed the idols had been misleading the majority of human beings'. " (Surah Ibrahim [14]: 35-36)

Ibrahim 'alaihis salaam pray like that when he already has a very high position as a lover of God (khalilullah). Nevertheless it is a state of Abraham 'alaihis salaam, he was still worried if he falls falling into shirk, because the human heart is between the fingers Ar-Rahman. Hence, some scholars say, "And who feel safe from the exam after Ibrahim 'alaihis salaam (do not feel secure)?" Because of Abraham' salaam alaihis worried about him if terjerus into shirk when he saw many people who fall into it . A'lamu Allaah.
